Your First Visit

A bit of paperwork

We will need to fill out forms that provide general information about you and your condition. Our staff is happy to assist you with the paperwork.  We have also provided some of the paperwork online to save you time on your first visit.

New Patient Video

You will watch a brief video that will explain a little about what chiropractic is and the concept behind our treatment technique. 

Consultation
During your first consultation with the doctor, you'll discuss any health-related issues and concerns. You will also learn about potential treatment options.

Examination
In order to pinpoint the problem, the doctor will ask you a number of questions related to your condition. A variety of targeted tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.

Same-day treatment
Patients will generally undergo their first treatment on their first visit after the examination is completed. This may include spinal adjustments and physical therapy.

Home instructions
Before leaving, you will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice application, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home stretches and exercises.

Scheduling the next appointment

Regular treatment is essential to the process. We work our treatments around your schedule. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days of their initial visit.
